Goodbye 2014

Greetings and Blessings!!

The time has come for us to say goodbye to the year that was 2014! The year that was consumed with laughter,  happiness, pain, sorrow, tears, joy, road bumps. many highs and many lows. The year that has taught me so much not only about people but about myself. The past year and a half of my life has been a roll-a-coaster I would say. I never expected or anticipated to have gone through what I have but going through it has opened my eyes in seeing what I needed to see and shifted my focus back on God. I do not regret what has taken place in my life because then I wouldn't be appreciative of the lesson that I needed to learn. I have come to realize that I am much stronger than I think I am and I know more than I think I do. There are no coincidences in life, everything happens the way it is supposed to happen.

I am saying goodbye to the fact that I did not always see myself as valuable or knowing my sense of self-worth. I did have low self-esteem about myself or thought that I wasn't good enough or pretty enough. We all suffer from some form of insecurity about ourselves. Society says, if you don't conform to this or that then you aren't valuable, worthy, or you won't get ahead in life. So I am saying to society that you can KICK ROCKS with your conformity!!! My value and self-worth doesn't come from you but from GOD! I was created in his image and likeness.  I am flawed, imperfect, reserved, soft-spoken, kind-hearted, fun-loving, humble, gentle-spirit, God-fearing woman.

I am saying goodbye to generational curses and letting go of things such as people, past hurts, disappointments, etc. One can not go into the New Year with unresolved issues of the past, unforgiveness in one's heart, bitterness, resentment, etc. Whatever feelings (and I had a lot of them) that I've had within this year about things and people I took it to God and I'm leaving it there. Saying goodbye to things that aren't relevant to me anymore and leaving right where it belongs in the PAST!

I am saying goodbye to this year with my head held high and walking into the New Year with a new outlook on life. I thank God for this year because this year was about the LESSONS that I needed to learn that has prepared me for what is coming next. This year was preparation, molding, and shaping me into the woman that God knows I can be. This year was filled with highs and lows but I am still STANDING! I am evolving and will continue to do so as I progress in this life.

So I ask you all what are YOU saying goodbye to in 2014?? I hope and pray that you all take some time to reflect on things from this year and not let anything that did or didn't happen in this year keep you in a rut. The mind is a very powerful tool, keep your mind on things above not earthly things. Keep your focus and know who you are in Christ!

Remembering The True Meaning Of Christmas

Greetings and Blessings!!

I hope that you all had a great weekend! Thanking God for letting us enter into this new week! Let us start the week off on a positive note! No matter what may happen let's keep our minds focus and stayed on God. I can't believe that Christmas Eve is this Wednesday and then it will be Christmas. After that, we just have a few more days until New Year's Eve!!! I wanted to share with you all in remembering the true meaning of Christmas during this time of the year. Yes, its nice to receive presents and give presents to those that we hold close to our hearts. But let us not get lost in the gift giving or gift receiving.  For some the holidays, can be a rough time because their loved ones are not here anymore, finances are low, etc. But during this time, Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing is unconditional love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength.

Let us remember going into the final two weeks of this year that Jesus is the reason for the season. Its not about material things but about celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. It is about his birth that brought joy to this world. Let us leave all the petty, negativity, drama, etc. alone. Let us be healed from our past and forgive not only ourselves but forgive those that have hurt us. Forgiveness is not easy but if God can forgive us for the things we've said or done then how can we not forgive those that hurt or or done us wrong. If we don't forgive, we are only standing in the way and blocking our own blessings!

Jesus was born so one day the price could be paid for the things we have done that are wrong. Jesus came so that he could die on the cross for ALL OUR SINS so that we may have LIFE. What an ultimate gift and sacrifice!  Let us look at Christmas in a different way this year. This is the time to invite Jesus into your heart. He is just waiting on you and he will accept you right where you are. He is an awesome God and a wonderful Father! His love is pure, true, and unconditional. He will not leave you nor forsake you. He is not the author of confusion but of peace. He only wants the best for all of us! You will receive joy and peace that will last no matter the circumstance that you go through.

So take the time out and spread laughter, joy, peace to not only those that are close to you but to others as well. You may be the only LIGHT in someones DARKNESS! I pray that you all have a wonderful week!!!

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!

Happy Saturday Everyone!!! I hope you all are doing well. I wanted to share this quote with you all. The wave of social media has everyone portraying themselves as if they have it all together or as if everything is great with their lives. Social media can also make us feel a certain way if we aren't where we see those individuals that we follow. We can start to feel jealous or envious of what we see from scrolling through the feed on IG or Facebook. But we can't let those negative thoughts and spirits enter into our minds. We all go through things in life and some people are better off at pretending that things are great when they really aren't. It is important that we don't start comparing our lives to those lives that we follow on our social media accounts. Just because we don't see everything doesn't mean that they haven't struggled to get to where they are. We all were created with unique talents, gifts, and abilities. We all have something special and different to offer and if we start comparing where we should be at with others then its saying that God made a mistake. God doesn't make mistakes, he knows everything and I mean everything about us better then we know. Don't let what you see fool you into wishing your life was different. Our walks and purposes are different and we must seek God first in all we do and let him order our steps in the way he wants us to go.

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!

Happy Friday Everyone!! I hope you all are doing well and that you all had a great and productive week! I hope everyone's week went well!! I wanted to share this quote with you all. When it comes to reflecting on how far you've come and the setbacks, the pain, the heartaches, and all that you have endured it is important to look in the mirror and see the beauty of how far you've come. Everything happens for a reason in our lives and it is because of those things that we become stronger, wiser, confident, and more knowledgeable. Everything that we go through is meant to teach us something and with that lesson that it teaches us we apply it to our daily lives. No matter what circumstance comes your way, you have the power within to make it through. In our times of weakness, God gives us the strength to carry and push on. We only have two more weeks left in this year, so if you haven't done so take some personal time with yourself and God and reflect on all that you have gone through and thank him for bringing you through and continue to thank him in advance for what is to come. Have a great and blessed weekend!!

It is so important that we keep the true meaning of Christmas alive! So here is the first one of 12 days of CHRISTmas!

Acknowledging our Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, who reconciled our relationship with God our father. John 16:33 reminds us that in Christ we have perfect peace because he has overcome the world. So let us be thankful for a worry-free life and the peace that passes all understanding.

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!

I hope that you all are doing well. I hope that everyone's week ended on a good note and that you all are enjoying your weekend! No matter what happen or didn't happen within this week there is still time left to end the year off on the right foot heading into the New Year. I wanted to share this quote with you all. It is important to give thanks to God for all that you have gone through. We can't just give him thanks when things are going good and going in our favor. But we must give thanks for those setbacks, disappointments, heartbreaks, etc. because without them it wouldn't have made you into the woman that you are becoming. I give him thanks for all that I have been through because it has made me into a better person. What I have gone through has shifted my focus and I have the choice to do things differently this go round and not let what has happen to me make me this bitter, resentful, angry person. I give thanks because I am shedding my OLD-SELF and embracing my NEW-SELF. I wouldn't change a thing that has happen because what took place needed to happen. What happen to you is not to tear you down but to build you up into the strong women God knows that you can be. Don't let anything or anyone tell you different, God has the final say in each of your lives no matter how many times life has knocked you down, get back up because in your time of weakness God provides you strength to keep pushing through!!

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!

I hope that you all are doing well! I hope that everyone's week is going great thus far and if not its okay there is still time for it to end better then it started. I wanted to share this quote with you and how important it is for us to be our authentic selves. As you progress in life, it is important to know who you are. It's not about bragging or boasting about things because if you know who you are it already speaks for itself. Let us not sink down and conform to the ways of the world and do what the world thinks but let us do what God and his word says we should do and be. Be yourself, be your true self and whoever is meant to be in your life will love you for you not the representation of you.

Vision Boards: Do You Have One?

Greetings and Blessings!!

I hope you all are doing well!! I hope that everyone's week is going well so far. The year is winding down and the New Year will be here before we know it. Whatever happen or didn't happen within these past eleven months leave it here in 2014! Let's not bring drama, baggage, negativity, etc into the New Year. There is still time to accomplish and establish your long-term and short-term goals. Lets not wait until January 1st to start thinking of the goals you want to set for the year, lets start NOW!!! When it comes to goal setting, it is a powerful process for thinking about your future and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of your future into a reality. The process of goal setting helps you choose where you see yourself and where you want to go in life. When you know what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts on. When you set goals, it gives you long-term vision and short-term motivation. When it comes to setting your goals they can be personal goals, social goals, academic goals, or career/financial goals. You want to get an overall idea or picture of what it is that you want to achieve. Then, you break down these down into smaller and smaller targets that you will be able to hit over time. Finally, once you have your plan you start working on achieving your goals. A great way to start working on your goals is to write them down. They can be big or small goals that you want to achieve. Whatever it is that is on your heart to do that you have always wanted to do. One of the most and best ways to help you in achieving your goals would be to make a vision board.

A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life. By doing a vision board, it helps you to do three things which are it keeps you focused, provides clarity, and it can be used as a daily affirmation. I did my first vision board over the summer and it was pretty amazing to see all my goals and dreams that I have for myself right in front of me. I do have plans on making another for the New Year. No matter where you are in life it is never too late to accomplish your goals and dreams. We have to speak things into existence and pray that our plans align with the plans that God has for us. When it comes to making a vision board all you would need to make a vision board is magazines, glue stick, and a plain white board that you could get from the dollar store. So set some alone time and get in tune with your goals, dreams, and visions for your life. Make yourself a vision board and work towards those goals and see yourself walking into your purpose.

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!! I hope that you all had a great weekend and we are going into another week for this month! I hope and pray that we all start off this week on the right note and I pray that you all keep in mind that no matter what may come your way God will see you through!! Wanted to share this morning message with you all and it is imperative that we seek and spend time with God daily and be consistent with it! Let us not go to him only when we are needing something but let us go to him always whether in good times or bad times!! I always make it a habit to start my day off with praying and reading my devotional. Start a routine and do what works for you but let's all sit at the feet of our father and spend with him! If we have time for everything and everyone else then we should have time for him!!! Have a great week!!!

Leaving The Comforts Of My Zone

Greetings and Blessings!!!

I pray that you all are doing well! The weekend is almost here and I hope everyone's week is going great thus far! In this post, I wanted to share with you everyone's most favorite place their comfort zones. By definition, Comfort zones have the meaning of a behavioral state within which a person operates in a anxiety-neutral condition, using a limited set of behaviors to deliver a steady level of performance, usually without a sense of risk. When it comes to comfort zones we ALL have them. Comfort zones can be seen as a sense of security for most if not all people. Comfort zones can be a good thing to have but if one never steps outside of their box one can't truly maximize their fullest potential.

I have never in a million years thought I would be doing something such as blogging!!! This is completely out of my comfort zone for someone who is slightly reserved with a combination of introvert/extrovert. But I felt within my spirit that this was something I was meant to do. I have always had a love for writing. Even though I sometimes have a hard time verbally expressing myself, I can write for days on end in my journal about anything. So I prayed about it and talked to some of those closet to me about it and they gave me the encouragement that I needed. And this is how I was able to step outside of my comfort zone. I felt so scared when I was writing my very post but I am beyond thankful to God for using me to be a blessing to others through this blog! I always ask God, how can I be used as a vessel to be a blessing to others. I believe he spoke to me within my spirit leading me to do this. Because writing these posts, it isn't about me but about HIM!!! I was going through a really tough time and instead of me dwelling and becoming depressed, God lead me to do this so that I can share with you all my truths, struggles, joy, sadness, encourage, etc.

Comfort zones are a great thing to have but you will never see what you can do and see what you are really made of if you never step outside of your box! I want to encourage you all to push past that tunnel vision thinking and do something that is opposite of what you are used to doing. Stop being predictable!  If there is something that you have always wanted to try, do it! Stop letting life pass you by and start living it! Life is too short not to enjoy it! Keep God first in all that you do and seek him if there is something on your heart or mind.

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!!

I hope you all are doing well! I hope everyone's week is going great thus far and if not it is okay there is still time for it to end on a good note. I wanted to share with you all this quote for the day, As we are moving into the next season of our lives it is time to fall back from all that has been holding you back. There comes a point in life where we all need to re-evaluate things such relationships, friendships, jobs, yourself, etc. If something or someone is not adding value to your life, if something or someone is depleting all of your time and energy, if something or someone is keeping you from doing what God has placed on your heart then its time to fall back from all that. Lets not move into the New Year with the same mindset and with all the baggage of this year. Lets start of the New Year with a renewed mind and with a renewed spirit! Have a blessed week!!!

There is still time for you to set out and accomplish your goals that you have set for yourself. This is the time for you to begin thinking about what you want to accomplish and achieve within the New Year. Lets not wait til January 1 to change our mindsets and/or attitudes let's start NOW!!! Let's rid of our old self and embrace the new self that God has been molding and shaping you into. Let God heal our hearts and let us forgive those who needs to be forgiven. Lets not go into the New Year with the same ol' same ol'!!! If you are truly going to let go and let God then LET GO AND LET GOD! I pray that you all have a great and blessed week!!!

30 Days Of Thankful

Here are the final post for the 30 days of thankful! I hope that these post have been a blessing to you just as they have been to me!! Thankful for what money can't buy!Scripture Ecclesiastes 5:19

For without God, we are nothing! Through it all let us continue to give praise and honor to God. For where would we be if it wasn't for him. Let us thank him for all that he has done and thank him in advance for what is to come. For when we are faithless, he is faithful! No matter what circumstances come our way he is the same God and his love for us endures forever!!

We Are Meant To Suffer

Greetings and Blessings!!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!! It is the last day of the month of November and we will be in the last month of the year come tomorrow!! The time is surely flying by so quickly. I pray that this month has been good to you and that no matter what did or didn't happen be thankful that you made it through another month. I was reading my devotion scripture this morning and then I went to read the book of 1 Peter. In this book, Peter writes this letter to the people suffering for their faith, reminding them of how much Jesus suffered. In this book, he inspires them with hope for the future and shows them how to grow in their faith. In reading what was wrote, I gained a new found image in what it means to be a Christian and follower of Christ. Yes, I knew that I would have to suffer and go through things in this life and that I wasn't exempt from anything. But reading this revealed to me that we are meant to go through hardships, painful circumstances within our lives. Just as Jesus suffered we are meant to suffer to. But in our suffering, we are meant to glorify HIS name! It is what we do in this suffering, will we scum to the pressures of what we are going through or will we fight through it and stand on and in his WORD?

This life is not meant to be an easy one and our walks, this journey that we all are on is not meant to be a walk in the park. We are supposed to SUBMIT ourselves to CHRIST and cling to him before clinging to things of this world. I feel that we get so caught up in running to other people when we are in trouble or going through something (and yes I am guilty of this too) instead of running to God first. God knows what we are going through and he wants to hear from us, his children. He knows the feelings that we have regarding our situations, the tears that we have shed, he knows us better than we know ourselves. I have learned that when one is going through something that one is getting and being prepared for what is coming next. Or that you will continue to face the same thing over and over until you learned the LESSON!

God doesn't want to see us in the same place forever but he also wants us to learn how to be content with where we are and what we have. I am THANKFUL for my SUFFERINGS because I am being molded and shaped into the woman that God knows I can be. I am THANKFUL for what this past year and a half has taught me about myself and other people. I am THANKFUL for the shedding of my OLD SELF and embracing my NEW SELF within CHRIST. I am this imperfect person and the daughter of the most high and he loves me for who I am. He wants better for me and in order to achieve better I have to suffer for awhile.

We have one more month to go in this year and yes there is still time for you to accomplish whatever goal that you want to attain. Let's start thinking positive things for this upcoming New Year! Whatever has happened in this year can't go with you in the new year! Take the lessons and grow with every challenge that you have faced within this year. I have learned so much not only about people but about myself within this year. This year has been up and down but I am thankful for the growth the I am seeing within myself. I am grateful and so thankful that I am where I am on this day. I may not be where I want to be yet but I know I am striving to get there. I feel that my season is changing and that a blessing is on the way! No matter what the enemy is trying to do he can't stop God's plan for me or God's plan for you! Keep pushing. keep fighting, keep praying, keep trusting, keep believing, keep the faith!!! Greetings and Blessings!!

Life lessons where would we be without them! Thank God for the lessons that have come our way. For these lessons only make us stronger, wiser, as well as prepare us for what is to come next. The trials and tribulations that we go through may be hard and difficult but there is always a lesson in all that we go through. Scripture Proverbs 1:5

There is beauty in everything

So this is a picture that I took this morning as I was heading out for the day. It was so beautiful and amazing to see this. It made me so appreciative of the simple things in life. Yes, there will be times were it is hard and you want to give up but it is important to remember why you started. This walk is not easy and there will be distractions that will come from everywhere to through you off track. Keep God first, pray throughout the day and remember why you started. There is a purpose for your pain nothing that you have gone through has been in vain. Yesterday, didn't end so well with me but I can't let what other people say or do shift my focus. Don't let what others think or say get to you look to God not them. Hope you all have a good rest of the week.

30 Days Of Thankful

Greetings and Blessings!!!

Happy Sunday Everyone!!! Thank God for this new day filled with new promises and new mercies! Thank God for letting us see another day for another chance and opportunity. I hope you all are doing well and this is the start of a new week! I am doing Saved in the City thirty day thankfulness challenge. Saved in the city is a great Christian-based organization for all women who are wanting to develop a closer and deeper relationship with God. So check out Saved in the city on Facebook, IG, etc. So with this challenge they will post something to be thankful for along with a scripture. The reason for this challenge is to set some alone and quiet time with God to reflect and show our thankfulness for that particular thing each day. I wanted to share with you all this because we don't have to wait until the Holidays come and tell God the reasons why we are thankful. We should be telling him and thanking him each and every day. So I will be posting their post everyday on my blog and since they started yesterday, I will post the first one below. I hope you all join in on this challenge!

Thankful for the blessings of God. Scripture reading Psalm 23:1-3

Welcome November

Greetings and Blessings!!

Thank God for allowing us to see another day. Another day that is filled with new promises and new mercies! Thank God for blessing us to enter into a new month. We are in the month of November already! Time is going by so quickly and the beginning of the New Year will be upon us before we know it. The seasons are changing as we are coming into Fall weather and this is the month of the Thanksgiving Holiday. We have so much to be thankful for and it is not only during the Holidays. Everyday that we open our eyes and take a breath God blessed us with another chance and another opportunity. There are people who didn't get to make it to see this day and this new month. Let's not take anything for granted because life is too short. I encourage you all to start and keep giving God the praise in the small simple things. Don't just give him praise when everything is going well give him praise in the midst of your troubles, give him praise when you feel overwhelmed and when you feel like giving up.

God has a plan and a purpose for each and everyone of us. We just have to make the choice to keep walking with him along this journey to fulfill our life promises. This road, this walk is not easy but it is worth it. It's time to get in with the new and out with the old. It's time to let go of people, places, or things, that don't add positive value to your life. If it is not in God's will it is time to let it go. Yes, it may be hard to let go of but how can God give you what he has in store for you if you are not willing to let what he is telling you to let go of. God only wants the best for us but we have to be willing to surrender everything to him. We must be willing to say,"Have your way in my life, Lord."

Don't let the trials and tribulations that come your way deter you from God. Keep him first in all that you do. For he is with you always, he will never leave you nor forsake you. I pray that you all have a blessed weekend and a prosperous month. Keep striving to become the woman that God knows you can be. Keep pushing, keep praying, never give up for your blessing is on the way.

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!! It is officially the last day of the month of October. It is by the grace of God that we have made it to see yet another month. This year has flown by so quickly and we only have two more months of the year left. The New Year will be here before we know it! Let's finish out the year strong! There is still time to set out and accomplish whatever it is that you have been wanting to do. Wanted to share this quote with you all about how important it is for our minds to be set in a positive state of being. The mind is power and it is a battlefield. It is so important to be in the mindset of positive, uplifting, and encouragement. What you give power to will have total control over you. Any crack of negativity lingering in your mind that's all the enemy needs to takeover with thinking ungodly thoughts. We have to keep our thoughts on things above and not earthly things. It is so important to spend quality time with God before you begin your day so that your mind is set for the day no matter what may come your way. I am finding myself waking up before my alarm goes off and in that time I am spending it reading my devotionals and praying. I truly feel so relaxed and at peace after I had my quiet time with my Heavenly Father. Whatever works for you whether it's the morning, at lunch, or before bed take time to spend with God so that he can give you a renewed mind and spirit. I hope you all have a great and blessed weekend!!

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!

I hope you all are doing well! It's the middle of the week and we only have two more days left in the month of October. I hope that you all are having a great and productive week. Let's finish out this week and this month strong!. If the week didn't start out so well for you then there is still time to regroup and finish it off better then it started. Let's keep our minds positive and focused on the big picture within our lives and our personal journeys. Wanted to share this quote with you all and it is just a reminder that no matter what you have gone through it has made you into the woman you are today. Everything that we go through is for a reason and it is only preparing us for what God is getting ready to bless us with. Your past does not dictate your future and your past doesn't define who you are. Your past is a part of your story, your journey, of how God brought you from a mighty long way. For those who counted you down and out, it is by the grace of God that you are still standing and standing stronger then ever. Always remember, that you are loved and that you are the daughter of the most high God!!!

You Must Deny Your Flesh Daily

Greetings and Blessings!!

Thanking God for another day that is filled with new promises and new mercies. It is the start of a new week! We are in the last week of the month of October and this upcoming Saturday will be the first of November. This month has gone by so fast and we are slowly but surely approaching the New Year of 2015. There is still time for you to set out and accomplish whatever it is that you want to do within this year. Also, there is nothing wrong with starting to think about the goals that you want to achieve for the upcoming New Year. I wanted to share this quote with you all. It is so important in this walk that we kill/deny off our flesh DAILY!!! We must not give into the temptation of what our flesh wants. Is this an easy task to do, NO! But it is something that we must do in order to be led and fed by the Holy Spirit. Whatever that voice is speaking to you into giving into what your flesh wants you have to fight that off. Giving into what our flesh wants may bring a bit of pleasure but it will also bring some serious consequences that we have to deal with eventually. Is what your flesh wants really worth all that is going to coming? Is what your flesh wants really worth that temporary pleasure? The answer is, NO!!! God paid the ultimate sacrifice for all of us when he died on the cross. He knows that we will make mistakes but he wants us to seek him when we feel that pressure in wanting to give into what our flesh is screaming/craving for.

This walk is not an easy walk but the reward for being obedient is worth all that we go through. It is important that we are surrounded by those individuals that is going to speak to our spirit. It is important that we surround ourselves with individuals that are speaking positive, encouraging, uplifting things in our lives. Again, if those that you are surrounded by are not adding value to your life or making you think on a more deeper and intimate level about things then it is time to clean house and let go of those relationships and/or friendships. Some of the things that you used to enjoy doing or the people that you use to hang out with may not get where God is trying to take you. And that is okay because he gave that vision to YOU and not THEM! God is trying to do a new thing in YOU in a NEW WAY but he can't until those things that used to satisfy you are no longer your focus.

I took a vow and made a declaration of purity. Even though, I am sexually abstaining from sex until marriage, this vow that I made means a lot more.  It means I want to be pure all around not just sexually. I want my heart to be pure, my mind to be pure, my thoughts to be pure, and my intentions to be pure. Was this easy to do, nope and is this something that everyone is going to get or understand especially in this world we live in, nope. But I didn't do it for the world, I did it for myself and the God that I serve. I want to be the woman he knows I can be and I am dedicated to serving him and only him. I pray you all's strength in dealing with whatever it is your flesh is wanting. Surround yourselves with people who uplift you and not tear you down. Hope you all have a great and blessed week!!

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!! I hope you all had a great and productive week. The weekend is here and we are entering into the final week of the month. Come next Saturday it will be the 1st of November. Wanted to share this quote with you all and how it important it is to have self-love within and for ourselves. Having self-love is one of the best qualities one can have because you are able to take the time and care for yourself. If you are the kind of person that is always on the go and is always the person on the giving in then it is time to rethink some things. It is great to be there for others but it is as equally important to be there for yourself. Take some time for yourself and do the things that you have been wanting to do. You can not be there fully for others and not be there fully for yourself. I pray that you all have a great, relaxed, fun-filled weekend!!!

Do You Have Faith Or Fear?

Greetings and Blessings!!!

I hope you all are doing well. It is the middle of the week and I hope that everyone's week is going well thus far. The month of October is almost done with just have one more week left to go. There is still time for you to set out and accomplish whatever short-term or long-terms goals that you have for yourself. If there is something that you have been wanting to do take a leap of FAITH and do it! You will never know something unless you try. I so love this image because it is stating to have FAITH IN HIM! It is such a powerful image and message to get across to everyone. Despite whatever may be going on in your lives, you can always have faith in him. We can't be consumed with FAITH and FEAR. It is one or the other but it can not be both!! So what is "it" that is holding you back? What is "it" that you can't put your complete trust and faith in God? Why is it so hard to let "it" go?

Do you really and I mean really trust God? Do you trust him enough to believe that he will do just what he said he would do? Are you tired of waiting for him to answer you or show you a sign, and that is when you take matters into your own hands? Are you showing patience, having an attitude of gratitude, and being obedient? Are you truly surrendering yourself to him? I had difficultly with these questions in the past. Because, I said I had faith in God but there was always that spirit or feeling of fear in the back of my mind. That was telling me that whatever I was wanting at the time I should be able to have it now and that I shouldn't have to wait. Or that feeling of, is God really going to bless me with what I just prayed and asked him for. Because I am not "worthy" of what I just prayed to him about.

God didn't give us the spirit of fear. He wants us to have faith in him during the good and bad times. How we handle things when situations and circumstances come about is a true testament to our faith. Will we rise above it or sink with the ship? Because just as the seasons change for the weather so does the seasons change in our lives. Whatever season you are in right now, it will come to an end. But this is your preparation time, your shaping and molding time to get prepared for what is to come. Do you have faith in him that he will get you to where he wants you to be? Do you have faith in him that he will do just what he said he would do? Do you have complete faith in him? Are your actions and the words that you speak saying that you have faith in him? Or are your actions and the words that you speak saying that of fear and defeat?

Quote Of The Day

Greetings and Blessings!!!

I hope you all are doing well. I hope everyone's week is going well so far. I wanted to share this beautiful passage with you all. I loved reading this and it gave me a sense of peace and calmness. God's love for us his children is so amazing and awesome. No matter what happens in this life, God's love for us his daughters never runs out. When it comes to the good, bad, and the ugly his love is ever flowing and it is unconditional. No one is going to love us like God does. Whether if we are in the right or the wrong, he will love us always. His love is not like that of a human being. His love is pure, real, and unconditional. He sees our flaws, imperfections, insecurities, and he longs for us to draw near him. It is so amazing that we can go to God with anything and he won't shun us away. He will meet us right were we are at. I encourage you all to go to God for he is there to listen and talk back to us. He is waiting to hear from you and wanting a relationship with you. He is wanting to use you to magnifying and glorifying his name. I pray you all have a great and blessed week!!

Attitude Of Gratitude

Greetings and Blessings!!!

Happy Sunday everyone!! I hope you all are doing well! I hope you all had a great and  blessed weekend. Thank God for allowing us to make it to see another week. We have just one more week left to go then we will be in the month of November!! In this post I wanted share with you all in how showing an attitude of gratitude is important during our personal walks in this life. In this life, we can and we will experience some unpleasant, uncomfortable, and difficult situations and/or circumstances. And it is in those difficult times our attitudes can either be positive or negative. We can either let what we are going through define us or we can make the most of the situation in working around the obstacle and looking at it from a different perspective. Yes, we will have our moments of being down and feeling overwhelmed and may be even the feeling of being defeated. But we have a choice to either be happy or miserable.

Whatever you are going through, there is always a way to turn it around for the better. It all begins with YOU. Each day YOU are given another chance and a choice about how you are going to live that day. You have the choice to either be GRATEFUL for what you have and make the most of it, or you can make the choice of dwelling in DESPAIR and allow it to pull you into this belief that whatever you are hoping or wanting to happen just won't or can't.

But it is important to know and to remember that even on the WORST days there is always something to be thankful for. When it comes to gratitude, you are focusing on the good within your life even if things aren't going that great. Life will always have its ups and downs, but there is something that we can always be appreciative of or show our support in being there for others in their time of need. One thing I have learn about this season that I am in, is that it is not about me but about God and letting him use me to be a blessing to others. The greatest test that we all experience is being able to be there for others and be a blessing to someone while we are in the midst of a storm.

So what are you GRATEFUL for? How can YOU show an attitude of gratitude? Will you chose to be HAPPY in spite of or will you choose to be MISERABLE?

Always remember, that the more you focus on the GOOD, the more GOOD will come into your life.

Be Blessed
